MISSING CHILD IN REYNOLDSVILLE BOROUGH

 

June 4th - At 15:38 Company 6 was alerted for a search detail on Grant st. Reynoldsville Borough. Brush 6, Manpower and 4-Wheelers all responded to the command post. Searching continued for the 5-year-old child in the wooded area behind the residence. Command then requested Sykesville Company 8 to the scene with manpower. Before Company 8 responded the child was located and all units were placed available.

 

 

 


ANOTHER STRUCTURE FIRE IN BROOKVILLE BOUGH

 

May 31st - Box 2-AHH was alerted at 12:23 for a structure fire Main st. Brookville Borough. Rescue 6 and Snorkel 6 responded. Fire was found to be on the porch/deck area of a 2nd floor apartment. Crew from Rescue 6 Assisted at the scene and Snorkel 6 staged in the area. All units were clear within an hour.

 

 

 


2ND ALARM STRUCTURE/VEHICLE FIRE

 

May 30th - Box 17-I (Sykesville 8 And Big Run 17) was alerted at 05:49 for a Galikers Milk Tractor trailer on fire endangering a structure. Jefferson Chief 17 arrived on scene and stated a fully involved tractor-trailer and request next due Tanker, bringing Tanker 6 to the scene. Chief 17 then requested 2nd Alarm due to extension into the structure. Rescue 6 And Tanker 6 Responded. Cause is unknown at this time. PSP Fire Marshall was called to investigate the fire.

 

 

 


STRUCTURE FIRE IN BROOKVILLE BOROUGH

 

May 22nd - At 13:50 Fire Box 2-A was dispatched for a working structure fire Melba Ln. Brookville Boro. Caller reporting a small barn well involved. Company 2 units arrived on scene to find a small shed fully involved. Rescue 6 And Snorkel 6 responded. Snorkel 6 was placed available and Rescue 6 proceeded to the scene to assist with hot spots. Box was placed available within an hour.

 


TWO VEHICLE MVA

 

May 15th - At 07:49 Box 6-B was dispatched for a 2 vehicle MVA with fluids leaking Rathmel Blvd Winslow Township. Pumper 6 responded to find 1 Vehicle into a Penn dot Dump Truck. The Penn dot truck sustained no damage although the other vehicle was leaking several fluids. All units cleared in less than a half hour.

 


MVA ROLL-OVER WITH EJECTION

 

May 13th - At 21:56 Rescue Box 6-G was dispatched for a 1 vehicle roll over with ejection, West Main St Reynoldsville Borough. Rescue 6 and Pumper 6 Responded to find 1 mini van on its side with partial ejection. Command Requested Stat Med Evac to the Reynoldsville Ball field. Engine 6-2 Responded for the landing zone. Patient was extricated and transported to the landing zone.

 

 

 


CARBON MONOXIDE ALARM REYNOLDSVILLE BOROUGH

 

Apr 28th - Box 6-G was alerted for a CO alarm activation On 4th st. Reynoldsville borough. Pumper 6 responded along with asst 6-2 establishing Command 6. All units cleared within 15 min.

 


MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENT WITH LANDING ZONE

 

Apr 28th - Box 6-B was alerted for a motorcycle MVA with injury Saxon Hill Rd. Winslow Township. Chief 6, Pumper 6 And Rescue 6 responded. Units Found 1 patient lying on the roadway with injuries from crashing his dirt bike. EMS on scene requested airship to the scene. StatMedEvac 6 Responded and transported the patient. All units cleared within an hour.

 

 

 


LARGE BRUSH/WOODS FIRE

 

Apr 28th - Box 6-B was alerted for a Forest Fire in the area of Syphrit cemetery Winslow Township. Chief 6, Brush 6, Tanker 6 and Engine 6-2 responded. Chief 6 arrived on scene to find a large fire in thick woods spreading rapidly with high winds. Command 6 requested Brush 8 and Brush 16 to the scene with manpower. All units alerted were Jefferson 6,8,16,17,30 all units on scene for 3 hours.

 

 


MVA - 2 VEHICLES HEAD-ON WITH ENTRAPMENT

 

Apr 27th - Box 6-D was alerted for a two vehicle MVA with injuries Route 322 west of Reynoldsville Borough. Pumper 6 And Rescue 6 Responded. Crews found 2 patients in a small passenger car entrapped and 1 patient self-extricated in the other vehicle. EMS personnel requested StatMedEvac to the scene. Crews extricated the patients and a landing zone was set up at the scene. Stat 6 arrived and crews cleared the roadway of debris and placed the box available.

 


FIRE BOX 6-B 2ND ALARM WORKING STRUCTURE FIRE

 

Apr 25th - Company 6 was alerted for a working structure fire with entrapment route 322 east of Reynoldsville Borough. Rescue 6 and Squad 8 Responded immediately. Rescue 6 arrived on scene to find a multiple occupancy dwelling working fire. Rescue 6 deployed 2 attack lines to the second floor. Engine 6-2 And Squad 8 Arrived next to assist first crews on containing the blaze. A dumpsite was established with Engine 6-2 and Squad 8. Dubois Engine 71 Arrived and deployed 1 attack line to the first floor. Dubois City Rescue 74 And Additional Dubois Crews Provided a RIT team. Units Alerted- Jefferson- 6 (Reynoldsville), 8 (Sykesville), 2 (Brookville), 4 (Falls Creek), 16 (Mccalmont Township), Clearfield County Dubois City 71,74 And 30 (Brady Township).
