1989 Sutphen 100 ft. Tower, with an 800lb capacity, and a 1500 GPM pump, with 300 gallon water tank.

 

 

 

 

 


TRANSFER ASSIGNMENT

 

Mar 24th - Company 6 was requested to transfer one Engine to Jefferson Company 4 for stand by. Company 4 was on scene of a structure fire in Sandy Township, Clearfield County. Rescue 6 was on scene for approximately 2.5 hours with no additional calls.

 


 


MOTORCYCLE CRASH

 

Mar 18th - Company 6 along with Jefferson Company 8 (Sykesville) was dispatched to Panic-Wishaw Rd for a Motorcycle Crash with a possible amputation of a leg. Both Companies were dispatched due to it being a line call. Squad 8 arrived and assisted EMS. Rescue 6 established a landing zone for Stat-Med-Evac. Patient was transported and all units cleared the scene.

 

 

 


TRACTOR TRAILER FIRE

 

Company 6 was dispatched for a tractor trailer fire on Route 322 West on "Murray Summit" Rescue 6, Pumper 6 and Chief 6 responded. Driver did have a working fire in the engine compartment. Quick action by the driver using a fire extinguisher most likely saved major damage to the vehicle. Likely cause of the fire was a Turbo that was installed in the tractor approximately 30 min before this fire. Units extinguished hot spots, cleared the roadway and returned to station.

 

 

 


FURNACE PROBLEM

 

Feb 11th - At 22:43 Fire Box 6-G for a furnace malfunction inside an apartment building of 10th street Reynoldsville Borough. Caller stated she heard a loud noise come from the furnace and was worried it was on fire. Captain 6 arrived on scene first along with Chief 6 and Rescue 6. Negative fire was reported and all units cleared the scene.

 

 


TRANSFER ASSIGNMENT TO CLEARFIELD COUNTY

 

Feb 10th - At 10:07 Clearfield County Rescue Box 5-IL was alerted for a multiple car pile-up I-80 at the 118 mile marker. Arriving units advised Clearfield County of multiple injuries and entrapment also multiple accidents with entrapment in the back-log. Rescue 6 was requested to transfer to Clearfield Station 1 and await orders. Rescue 6 staged at Clearfield station 1 and responded to no additional calls.

 

 

 


MVA NO INJURIES

 

Feb 9th - At 16:23 Rescue box 6-E was alerted for a 1 vehicle MVA with no injuries Route 322 west of Reynoldsville Borough. Pumper 6, Chief 6 and Asst 6-2 responded to find a Ford Explorer off the roadway with no injuries, traffic control only. Units were on scene for 45 min.

 


TWO VEHICLE MVA

 

Jan 30th - At 11:24 Rescue Box 6-G was alerted for a two vehicle MVA N 4th St Reynoldsville Borough. Asst 6-5 Arrived on during dispatch and advised for clean up and traffic control only. Pumper 6 and Chief 6 Also responded. Units on scene less than 20 min.

 


THREE MVA'S ON ONE HOUR

 

Jan 28th - At 07:45 One vehicle blocking the roadway no injuries.

 

At 08:27 One vehicle partially on roadway no injuries no fluids leaking

 

At 08:56 One vehicle reported unknown injuries or entrapment. Units found no injuries or entrapment.
 

 


TWO VEHICLE MVA

 

Jan 20th - Two vehicle MVA no injuries vehicle blocking the roadway. Initially reported on Wayne Rd Jefferson County, vehicles were found on Wayne Rd Sandy Township Clearfield County. Per Sandy Township PD Clearfield Notified Sandy Township Company 36 and Company 6 remained on scene and provided traffic control.

 


STRUCTURE FIRE

 

Jan 19th - At 05:50 Fire Box 10-C reported structure fire in a outside furnace shed. Jefferson Companies 6 (Reynoldsville), 10 (Pine Creek), 13 (Knox Township). Rescue 6 arrived first and use a hand line to extinguish the fire. Units were on scene for around an hour.

 


VEHICLE VS SCHOOL BUS

 

Jan 5th - At 13:58 Rescue Box 6-B was alerted for a passenger vehicle Vs. a school bus Route 322 East of Reynoldsville Borough. Rescue 6, Pumper 6 and Chief 6 responded to find a School Bus that crashed into a passenger vehicle with that driver complaining of injuries. Units assisted EMS, traffic control and Accident clean up and cleared the scene for 45 min.

 


MULTIPLE ALARM STRUCTURE FIRE

BRADY TWP CLEARFIELD COUNTY

 

Jan 4th - At 12:51 Clearfield County Fire Box 30-T was alerted for a working dwelling fire Main st. in Troutville. Tanker 6 was first requested to the scene and Engine 6-2 Transfer to Jefferson station 8. While responding Engine 6-2 was requested to the scene. Engine 6-2 established a tanker dump site at the front of on the structure. Engine 6-2 utilized a deck gun and supplied Jefferson Engine 8-1 and Dubois City Truck 72. Structure sustained major damage and units were on scene for several hours with temps around 12 degrees. Units on scene Jefferson County: Reynoldsville, Sykesville, Big Run, Punxsutawney, Falls Creek and McCalmont Twsp. Clearfield County: Brady Township, Dubois City, Sandy Township, Rockton, Grampian and Hyde Truck 6 Transfer to Dubois City 72

 

 

 

 


STRUCTURE FIRE

 

Jan 1st 2010 - At 03:31 Fire Box 4-B was alerted for a working structure fire with unknown injuries or entrapment. Caller then reported a detached garage well involved. Engine 6-2 and Tanker 6 responded. Fire units were on scene for over 2 hours. Garage is considered a total loss. Units on scene: Reynoldsville, Falls Creek, Dubois City and Sandy Township.
